Last summer, Members of our Art and Photography Group at Herne Bay Day Resource went foraging for materials in the local area. They used the materials to create these stunning artworks and photograph them. We hope they will bring some joy during these challenging times.
If you would like to know more about becoming a member at the Herne Bay Day Resource you can ask your Care Manager to refer you, a family member can call us or you can call us yourself on 01843 808964.
The group worked with glass, worn wood, tiles found from Sandwich Bay, Pegwell Bay and Ramsgate undercliff, as well as natural materials from the garden at Herne Bay Resource Centre. The woodwork group made flower presses and these were used to preserve leaves which were then photographed on a light box.
