“We have an incredible workforce at East Kent Mencap with a real desire to gain more skills and knowledge about the people that we support.
As part of our ongoing workforce development programme, we have utilised innovative ways of securing funding from larger organisations that have recognised the value of the work that we do. By sharing their training levy with us, we are able to offer fully funded qualifications to our teams, equipping them with the tools they need to provide high quality support to people with learning disabilities.
It was a true privilege to attend the ceremony alongside frontline colleagues and our members to receive this award”.
