East Kent Mencap interviews debut author, Neil Alexander about his heart-warming mystery book ‘The Vanishing of Margaret Small’. He tells us about his connection with the Royal Mencap Society and the inspiration behind his book, whose main character ‘Margaret’ has a learning disability.
Neil generously donated the proceeds from his book launch at Harbour Books in Whitstable to East Kent Mencap. Every penny of this donation will go towards helping people with a learning disability to achieve the things they want in life.
