Hilary recently went on holiday with Support Worker, Tamara. She takes time out to reflect on her fantastic time and talks to East Kent Mencap about her wonderful holiday.
Hilary said: “I went on my dream holiday to Silverstone to watch the Grand Prix. I was supported by Tamara. We stayed at a beautiful Manor House for 4 nights and then we were picked up by coach on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday to spend the day at Silverstone.”
Hilary shared her holiday highlight, she said: “I loved the whole holiday but if I had to choose a favourite part it would be the Grand Prix main event. I bought some souvenirs and have a photo album full of photos to remind me of the occasion and share with my family and friends.”
Hilary’s Father said: “We are so pleased with the excellent care, support, and attention Hilary receives. She’s clearly very happy in her environment, all the staff plays such an important role in this. Her Silverstone break with Tamara was a wonderful experience, and the time Tamara has put into the photo album and so on has enhanced that.”
